Village Kids Childcare Centres have been designed and
constructed by Taylor Homes to accommodate 75 children
including 8 babies in each centre. A corporate theme and similarity
in layout was maintained for all centres.
Each centre was designed to allow each age group to have its own
self-contained area incorporating preparation storage and toilet facilities.
A full kitchen and small kitchenettes are incorporated in the design, as the
centres provide lunches for the children. Modern toilet and baby change areas
with brightly coloured tiled walls area provided in each of the group rooms.
State of the art communication, audio visual and security systems with a computerized identification system installed for entry into the children's areas.
Each centre has large concrete pavers under roof play areas and playgrounds and sandpits shaded with coloured shade sails.
Following the Village Kids corporate theme, bright vibrant colours have been used both externally and internally in paintwork, tiling and in the cabinetry and feature panels.
In all aspects staff facilities and occupational health and safety requirements have been provided with staff room, storage and washing and ablution facilties.
Carparking areas and comprehensive landscaping complete the Taylor Homes design and construct package.
Each centre is constructed on an engineered designed footing and concrete slab with masonry block rendered walls and steel roof. Steel posts and beams are used in the construction of the covered areas. |
